It started as a conversation across the other side of the world.
As a busy professional and working mom, I knew I needed more space and margin in my life. After coming across Daniel Sih’s book and his training at Spacemakers Australia, I realised how much digital overuse was impacting my life and those around me, including the businesses and clients I was working with as an HR consultant.
Could we bring this award-winning training to North America? I reached out and organised a Zoom call between Daniel (in Australia) and myself (in Vancouver) to talk about possibilities to collaborate.
Twelve months later, Spacemakers Canada was born, to help busy people make space by shifting the way they live and work.

Our passion is to help busy people make space in the digital age.
We run practical training courses to help individuals and organisations improve their productivity — mastering email, achieving priorities, improving digital and personal wellbeing, and transforming culture.
We speak with groups about digital overuse and the productivity of unplugging as a habit from both a personal and organizational perspective.
